“But true wisdom and power are found in God; counsel and understanding are his. -Job 12:13 NLT
When an issue in life or a troubling situation presents itself to us, getting outside help is often the wise move, especially from a trusted and respected source. Having the confirmation that we are making the right decision or at least heading in the right direction, can put our minds at ease and help us press on in difficult or confusing times. But before we do that, before we bring whatever it is to others, we need to first bring it to God. There is nothing God doesn’t understand, He has felt it all. There is nothing on the earth that He can’t relate to. There is nothing that we can say that will surprise Him, and there is nothing He won’t help us with.
Staying in close connection with God at all times is like having the best and most powerful friend on your side. He will aid us and comfort us; He will mend us and strengthen us. When we need wisdom, we need to go to the Source of all wisdom. When we need power to know what to do, we need to go to the Source of all power. When we need counsel and understanding, there is no better place to go to than to the Source of it all, God. What we are seeking to know is found in God. When we are struggling with what to do or even paralyzed with indecision, we need to remember that what we are needing the most is in Him.
So, talk to Him, He understands and bends down to listen. He has true wisdom to lead you and the power to make you stronger in all you do. Talk to Him, let Him quietly work in your life healing the broken places and guiding you where you need to go. He will hear you and will never lead you astray.
