Encouragement for Today

A diamond is called a precious gem. But why? What makes it precious? Well, a diamond is rare, a diamond has value, diamonds are beautiful, diamonds are strong, diamonds have endured pressure in order to have grown, and diamonds are unique. So, I would say all that put together is what makes them precious. Well, to God, YOU are precious. You are all the things that make a diamond so great, plus about a million more. So, today, think about how valuable and precious diamonds are to us and remember that to God, a diamond is just a shiny rock, YOU are the valuable treasure!
