Praise God…that He promises to never leave us.

“And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you.” -John 14:16 NLT

  God has made us many promises on the pages of Scripture. He didn’t have to do this but He chose to make these unfailing, unshakable, and rock-solid promises to us out of His great love. One of which is that He will never leave us. Throughout our lives, God has been there even when we had no concept of who He was. He was there before we put our trust in Him, and He will be there in our last moments on earth. He is the only true constant that we can ever have. Even when the lies try to creep in that we are in this alone, His promise still remains, that He hasn’t left and He won’t ever do so. What a humbling and truly amazing reality this is. God in all His glory will never leave us in our struggles, our troubles, our down moments, or our pain. He has been there through it all, He is there right now, and He will be there every moment after that. His promise and His presence are definitely worthy of our praise.

  God, today we praise You for this wonderful promise of Your presence. We praise You for the gift of knowing that You will never ever leave. We praise You that the One we always have with us is our Advocate, on our side. Through Jesus’ holy name, we praise You.
