Praise God…that He bends down to listen to us.

“Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath!” -Psalms 116:2 NLT

  Try to picture in your mind the Lord of the universe, the One who breathes life into all, who holds everything in all creation together, bending down just to listen to your prayers. As a loving and gentle parent bends down to attentively listen to their little child, God does the same thing for us. This is such a beautiful expression of care and love, for all of His children. He knows our prayers and our needs before we even bring them to Him. He knows what we hope for and what we dream. He knows every want and every desire. He knows it all before we even form the thoughts, but because of His immense love and kindness, He bends down just to hear what we have to say. God wants to hear from us, He wants to hear what is on our minds, and He wants to have that personal relationship with us. What an amazing and personal God we get to praise.

  God, today we praise You for the beautiful gesture You show us by bending down to listen to us. We praise You for the love You show Your children. We praise You for the individual care and attention You show to each and every one of us. Through the holy and loving name of Jesus, we praise You.
