Praise God…that He is gracious.

“He has caused his wonders to be remembered; the Lord is gracious and compassionate.”-Psalm 111:4 NIV

  God is gracious to us. The works He has performed in our lives and the wonderful acts that the Lord does throughout the world, come out of how gracious He is. When we remember what our Father has done we can know Him better, trust Him more, have a deep faith, and let go of what we try to hold on to. When we remember who He is or what He does, it’s all because He is the One that has caused His works to be remembered. Any false thoughts or images that we may have of Him, God wants to correct so we can truly see His grace and compassion. Knowing God and having a real deep connection with Him is the most valuable thing we will ever have in this earth. Getting to have a relationship with God through the work of Jesus on the cross is pure grace, and that is worthy to be praised.

  God, today we praise You that You are gracious. We praise You that You cause us to remember You and Your works. We praise You that through Your graciousness You are drawing us into a deeper relationship with You. Through the holy and gracious name of Jesus, we praise You.
