Welcome to Haven Bible Study!

My name is Kristen and I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share with you what you can expect in the pages and posts that follow.

Simply put, we are all things Bible study. God and His Word have been my refuge in many challenging times and through many personal struggles. My hope is that if God and the Bible are not a haven for you yet, maybe as you follow along, one day they will be. My sincerest desire is that everyone fall in love with the Word of God and read/study it regularly. I truly believe that if we all read the Bible more we would love each other better.

Now, I also have to preface this by saying that the words that I write will probably fall short. Before you close the page and walk away let me explain. When the subject matter is on praising God and studying His Word, my words will always fall short of what He deserves. Frankly, there aren’t any good enough to accurately praise who He is. But because our Father is loving and compassionate, I trust that He willingly accepts our meager offerings.

So, I hope you stick with me, and as you read the devotions you add to them, making them personal and unique to your own experiences. When you read the studies, you really dive deep in His word and find more insights than I have presented. And when you read the quotes from people much smarter than I am, you will let their words sink in.

I hope you praise the Lord for specifics in your everyday life and thank Him for the unique blessings He has given to you. Let’s become people who make it their mission to always praise the name of Jesus, and cling to His every Word.
