Praise God…that He drew us to Him.

“For no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them to me, and at the last day I will raise them up.” -John 6:44 NLT

  The Lord drew us to Himself. We didn’t come to God on our own out of our own intellect knowing that we were lacking and needed Him. He was the One that knew what we needed, so He drew us in. This shows such kindness and care. Instead of letting us wander aimlessly searching in life, He brings us in to Him in order to fulfill everything we need. God draws us to Himself, forgives our sins, lights a path for us, gives us eternal life, and a never-ending relationship with Him. He does all this for us. The passion and desire that we have deep inside to know the One who created us was from Him all along. He chose us, He gets all the glory, and that’s just another reason we can praise Him.

  God, today we praise You for drawing us to You. We praise You for Your love and care that You did this. We praise You for knowing us so deeply that You know what we need. We praise You for seeing us and pulling us in close to You as our loving Father. Through the holy name of Jesus, we praise You.
