Praise God…that He has given us the Holy Spirit.

“And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.” -Romans 5:5 NLT

  The presence of God is so near that the Holy Spirit is actually living inside of us. When our heart takes a beat, He feels it too. When we fill our lungs with our next breath, He feels it too because He is in us. God is not some far off being pushing the buttons to maintain order in the cosmos. He is here, He is personal, and He wants to be involved in our lives at the deepest level possible by sending His Spirit to dwell within us. This ensures that there isn’t one second of our lives that He isn’t present with us. Even when we try to walk away in rebellion, He never leaves. The same Holy Spirit that hovered over the waters at creation, and the same Holy Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is with each and every one of us believers right now. And that is definitely worthy of praise.

  God, today we praise You for Your presence. We praise the Holy Spirit for always being with us. We praise You God for giving us Yourself so that we will never have to walk one single step alone. Through the holy name of Jesus, we praise You.
